Return to the roots of curling in the Golden Heart City!
Curling started in Fairbanks in 1905 with the first games played outdoors on the Chena River, leading to the formation of the Fairbanks Curling Club that year, making it the state's oldest sports organization. Teams of 4 will have the chance to throw rocks on outdoor ice at the Starter Block located in downtown Fairbanks on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Lacey Street.
