Live From Fairbanks, It’s SNL Spiel!

We’re excited to promote our curling traditions and pair this year’s Rookie Spiel theme with the legacy of NBC’s Saturday Night Live.  Whether you’re a seasoned veteran curler, or a first-year rookie, we encourage you to explore the 51 seasons of Saturday Night Live and enjoy bringing costumes and characters to life.  So, dig out your Cowbells, Get Off The Shed, and drive that Van (Down by the River) to the Fairbanks Curling Club for the 2025 Rookie Spiel!

This bonspiel is geared toward helping new curlers build experience by pairing them up with experienced curlers.  Improve curling techniques, learn new strategies, and enjoy Thanksgiving Weekend with your friends at the Fairbanks Curling Club! 

Teams must have two people with under 2 years experience, new curlers can attend learn to curl lessons on November 28th 6-8pm.  

Registration is by team, so please have your whole team ready to sign up. Skips will be pay for all 4 players ($160). 

We will be adding a "Looking for a team" function in the next few days for those of you looking for a team!

Please register by Sunday November 23rd so that the organizers have time to make the draw schedule.
